Science Writers & Journalists Fellowship Program
Each year DHFMR selects three journalists for a week-long fellowship program offered by DHFMR and Harvard Medical School (HMS) Office of Public Affairs. The program is designed to give science writers, journalists and broadcasters the opportunity to increase the depth and breadth of their reporting on health care, medical innovation, and scientific research. First two programs have been held at HMS. The third annual Science Writers and Journalists Fellowship Program was held November 16–18, 2009, in Dubai, at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication (MBR School). The event was jointly organized by DHFMR, HMS Office of Public Affairs and the MBR School.
