DHFMR SEED GRANT PROGRAM AWARDS 2008 [Deadline: September 1]: The DHFMR Seed Grant Program will make awards available to collaborative research initiatives that are in the conceptual or early stages of development. 2008 DHFMR SCIENCE WRITERS & JOURNALISTS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM: The program, held at Harvard Medical School, May 11 - May 16, and conducted by Dubai Harvard Foundation in association with the Harvard Medical School's Office of Public Affairs, provided the attendees with the opportunity to increase the depth and breadth of their reporting on health care, medical innovation and scientific research (News Page article).

AWARDS RECIPIENTS: The Dubai Harvard Foundation for Medical Research Announced its First Collaborative Research Center and Research Fellowship Awards Recipients. All research award applications undergo a peer-review process by an ad hoc Review Committee who makes its recommendation to the Scientific Advisory Committee, comprised of members based at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and academic medical centres in the Middle East (report on the awards).
