Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the Foundation and the ratification of all programs. Incorporation and governance documents for the Foundation are drawn up within Massachusetts State Law and in accordance with laws governing charitable foundations within the United Arab Emirates, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the USA.

MATERNAL, WOMEN’S AND CHILD HEALTH WORKSHOP: Closing the Care Delivery Gap

In recent years the GCC region has seen significant improvement in maternal, child and women’s healthcare provision and outcomes. In part this progress relates to a commitment to meeting the World Health Organization’s Millennium Development Goals. However, there still remain health challenges that put women and children at risk of non-communicable diseases such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease. Additional surrounding, for example, childhood obesity, or maternal post-operative care, pose additional challenges that can be managed through awareness and prevention. This day-long workshop is designed for physicians and clinicians, healthcare policy makers, and members of the academic community focused clinical care delivery, family and community health, and health policy.
